MA

a workshop with Karam Kriya, Kundalini Yoga meditation & systemic family constellation insights & exercises

Sunday 2nd April 1 to 5pm, Purusha House, Fremantle

Can you imagine what would be different for you if you felt your mother's presence in your life as nothing but a blessing? Can you imagine how great and full you would feel and how available you would be to give that love to others?

Some of us do experience warm, connected relationships with our mothers. Some mothers passed away already, sometimes when we were young and didn't feel ready. Some of us feel a disconnect from our mothers, ranging from a subtle sense of distance to a strong and active rejection.

In Kundalini Yoga teachings, we say the soul of the baby chooses the mother. She is your first teacher. On the level of what your soul is here to learn, she is absolutely perfect for you.. in EVERYTHING that she is and does.
We might struggle with this idea, but what does your heart say?

There are 2 mothers - one is how we think she is and the other is how she really is, which has nothing to do with our pictures. The essential, underneath everything mother is actually just a pure principle of embracing, total grace, pure power of love. A timeless, universal force. She gave you the gift of life. And one who has taken the gift of life can pass it on. The life of the one who has taken the gift of life is full of vitality and connection.

This afternoon workshop is a chance to compassionately, forgivingly turn your full attention to this theme in your life.

We will draw on wise teachings and healing practices from Kundalini Yoga and Karam Kriya (wisdom of numbers). We will also move through some processes from systemic family constellation work to help you, as much as you are ready and in your own time, to take steps of reconciliation. Such steps ripple out through your whole life.

Date: Sunday 2nd April 1 to 5pm
Venue: Purusha House, 18 Holdsworth St, Fremantle
Cost: $108
Bring: Pen, journal, water

"The way we relate to our mother is also how we relate to our body. Those who feel separated from their mother and turn away also experience themselves separated from their body.

In certain spiritual circles the mother is excluded. Take the holy people of the Christian antiquity, who were said to live on stone pillars, or many yogis, even today. According to the bible, Jesus rejected his mother in the same way, rebuffing her and declaring God as his father.

How do these people find a way back to their body? In finding the mother again, returning to her after the separation - whatever the reasons were - finding the way home to her, with love, and in unison again with life as a whole.” Bert Hellinger
